The goal of the Economic Initiative for Central Germany is the establishment of independent, internationally competitive clusters in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia, in order to concentrate and connect existing activities and provide partners with a common platform. This initiative focuses on strengthening small and medium-sized companies and marketing the economic region to the wider world with the aim of creating a dynamic, appealing business location. This will also benefit the Salzland district and the  Gatersleben and Bernburg clusters. And the initiative’s graduate events will attract the next generation of experts to the region.
