The Wilhelminian style of Hasselbachplatz
Built around 1900, Hasselbachplatz is today the centre of Magdeburg’s night life. The neighbourhood is home to around three dozen pubs, bars, restaurants and discotheques. Art, music and performance on Hasselbachplatz are a cultural alternative to visiting a classical theatre or a museum.
