The green citadel
One of the last architectural pieces of art by Friedensreich Hundertwasser, also one of the largest, sees towers crowned with golden globes, “tree tenants” peering out of “dancing windows”, blooming meadows spreading their scent on the rooftops, while “melodies for the feet” accompany visitors merrily through the inner courtyards.
