The benefits of diversity

At a celebratory event staged 25 May 2012 by the Federal Ministry of Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth in Berlin, the town of Burg received official recognition, along with 92 other municipalities, for its outstanding commitment to diversity, tolerance and democracy in Germany. Here, social integration and intercultural learning are priorities.
